Pentecostal Ministries of Uganda is an evangelical church registered in Uganda
It operates in 40 districts in Uganda with 319 local churches that have branches with a combined membership of approximately 202,000 members
PMUC was established in 2001 by Ugandans passionate about evangelism with support from Swedish missionaries.
In 2011 PMUC was duly registered as a National Non-Governmental Organization though it was incorporated in 2011. Pentecostal Ministries of Uganda – PMUC is head quartered in Kitende, in Wakiso district.
Job Description
Pentecostal Ministries of Uganda Churches is committed to fulling the great commission of Lord Jesus as per scripture in Mathew 28:16-20. We are working In partnership with Compassion International Uganda in the ministry of nurturing children to release them from poverty In Jesus name.
We invite applications from suitable qualified bom again Christans to serve in Child development project under their Umbrella projects at Acholibur Child and Youth Development Centre under and Katagala CYDC at PMU Churches.
Duties and Responsibilities
Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, with a Christ-like atitude in dealing with people
Working within one's influence, serves as an advocate for children and and their caregivers who live in poverty and are not able to speak out for themselves. This includes being informed about issues of children and influencing others to greater involvement of their behalt
Shall plan and coordinate health screening for project children.
Shall identify children and caregivers with special health needs and design an action plan in collaboration with project leadership and other stakeholders
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Academic qualifications
Preferably a degree in, Child Development studies, Social Work and social Administration, Education and any other related courses.
Experience;
