Job Description
Responsible for the day-to-day IT support duties for the Agency Banking Platform by ensuring Information/System confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This role reports to the Lead, Technical Solutions, Agency Banking.
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide technical assistance to agents and staff on issues related to agency banking platforms.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
System Maintenance and Updates:
Oversee the maintenance of agency banking systems, including software updates and patches.
Ensure systems are secure, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training programs for agents and internal staff on the use of agency banking systems.
Create user manuals and training materials to support ongoing education.
Process Improvement:
Analyze current processes and workflows within agency banking operations.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze data on agency banking transactions and performance metrics.
Generate regular reports to inform management decisions and strategic planning.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure agency banking operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, operations, and finance teams, to support agency banking initiatives.
Act as a liaison between agents and the organization to address concerns and feedback.
Product Development and Enhancement:
Assist in the development and enhancement of agency banking products and services.
Gather and document user requirements, and participate in the testing of new features and functionalities.
Customer Support and Relationship Management:
Provide support to agents and customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agency banking partners and stakeholders.
Documentation and Knowledge Management:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and support activities.
Develop and update knowledge bases and FAQs to facilitate self-service support.
Project Management:
Lead or participate in projects related to the implementation and expansion of agency banking services.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
Market and Technology Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in agency banking.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market research and competitive analysis.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in agency banking services.
Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Information Technology or in a computer related field

Extensive general technical knowledge of information technology infrastructure.
Good knowledge on the Linux environment & Linux Scripting
Good knowledge in managing relational databases.
Ability to interpret complex data into meaningful information.
Programming skills is an added advantage.
Understanding Agile Development Practice
Good System Administration skills
Experience Required
Over 2 years' experience in;
Extensive general technical knowledge of information technology infrastructure.
Good knowledge on the Linux environment & Linux Scripting
Good knowledge in managing relational databases.
Ability to interpret complex data into meaningful information
Programming skills is an added advantage.
