Job Description
A Graduate Programme, also known as a Graduate Scheme or Trainee Programme, is a structured training and development program offered by companies to recent graduates. These programs are designed to provide graduates with practical experience, professional skills, and industry knowledge, typically over a period of one to two years.
Duties and Responsibilities
Rotational Assignments:
Participate in various rotational assignments across different departments or functions within the organization to gain a broad understanding of the business.
Work on diverse projects and tasks to develop a wide range of skills and experience.
Training & Development:
Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to develop technical and soft skills, such as leadership, communication, problem-solving, and time management.
Participate in e-learning courses, on-the-job training, and mentorship programs.
Project Work:
Contribute to specific projects, working individually or as part of a team, to support business objectives and gain practical experience.
Present findings, reports, and recommendations to supervisors and senior management.
Performance Evaluation:
Set and achieve personal and professional development goals.
Receive regular feedback and performance evaluations from mentors, managers, and HR representatives.
Networking:
Build relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders within the organization.
Participate in networking events, team-building activities, and company meetings.
Business Understanding:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations, products, services, and industry.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
A recent bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field. The specific academic requirements may vary depending on the industry and the company's focus.
