Job Description
LifeLink Medical Group is a private medical establishment, initially founded as Lifelink Medical Centre in 2008 with a goal of bringing superior but affordable medical services, closer to the people. Currently running a hospital in Namugongo, and an urban clinic in Ntinda. LifeLink offers both general and specialist health services in a sparkly, friendly and well-supervised environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Staffing
Job Posting and Advertising: Creating and managing job advertisements.
Screening and Interviewing: Reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
Onboarding: Coordinating new employee orientation and training programs.
Employee Relations
Conflict Resolution: Addressing and resolving workplace conflicts.
Employee Engagement: Implementing programs to boost morale and engagement.
Feedback and Communication: Facilitating regular communication between management and staff.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Administration: Managing payroll and ensuring competitive compensation.
Benefits Management: Administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Performance Bonuses: Developing and managing performance-based incentive programs.
Training and Development
Skills Development: Identifying training needs and organizing development programs.
Career Pathing: Assisting employees with career planning and progression.
Compliance Training: Ensuring employees complete mandatory training programs.
Compliance and Legal
Policy Implementation: Developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
Labor Law Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Advanced Education: Master’s degree or MBA with an HR concentration (preferred for senior roles).
Certifications (Optional but beneficial)
PHR/SPHR: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Skills and Competencies
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and handle sensitive situations.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software and MS Office applications.
Experience
Work Experience: Prior experience in HR roles such as HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or HR Specialist.
Industry-Specific Experience: Experience in the specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) may be preferred.
