Online Typing

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Kampala HQ Petty Cash Unit

  • Day-to-day Spreadsheet register and ledger management

  • Weekly budget planning

  • Employee Expense Report review and closing

  • Petty cash expense supporting documentation management for all branches

  • Other tasks assigned by Finance department.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant Coursework: Courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, financial analysis, and business law can be particularly beneficial.


Professional Experience

  • Entry-Level Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or related fields. Internships or part-time roles in finance are highly valued.

  • Industry Exposure: Experience in the specific industry of the employer can be advantageous but is not always required.


Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Accounting Principles: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP or IFRS).

  • Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.

  • Budgeting: Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
