Job Description

Participate in annual HSE objectives and in the definition of the Department's Safety and Environment objectives and the directions in which progress can be made and Implement procedures throughout the logistics packages, establish and maintain specific procedures as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in Development, review and update of the logistics documents and manage their publication and control their implementation.

  • Participate in annual HSE objectives and in the definition of the Department's Safety and Environment objectives and the directions in which progress can be made and Implement procedures throughout the logistics packages, establish and maintain specific procedures as required.

  • Participate in the Evaluation of Logistics contractors through Service Quality Meetings to ensure compliance and performance as per the contract and in the audits of Logistics Contractors and establish an action plan according to the recommendations made.

  • Provide methodological support for the monthly monitoring of contractual commitments, the production of closing forecasts and the identification of deviations from the budget.

  • Audit, follow up and close out of HSE actions in synergy, follow up on different action plans, follow up on audit close out actions within Logistics Operations.

  • Innovation & Digitalization Lead within Logistics Operations Support.

  • Ensure that Scope of Works , Technical and HSE evaluations of bidders during CFT are completed on time.

  • Participate in preparation of SOW, and initial technical PQ and HSE evaluations of bidders during the call for tender process.

  • Implementation of the Logistics Operations (LSO) business tools and ensure Quality Control of logistics activities.


Health & Safety:

  • Drive HSE performance in accordance with the Company Group objectives, demonstrate HSE leadership and develop a safety culture with the team and service providers.

  • Dvelop, review and update all the Log procedures, bridging documents on time, establish and coordinate the implementation of annual HSEQ training plans for both staff and contractors and maintain records, carryout training assessment for all HSEQ trainings conducted as per established plan.

  • Ensure proper and effective internal controls and safety standards are in place for all project Logistics activities, ensuring that all activities he/ she is responsible for, or involved in, are performed with the highest level of consideration to HSE risk management, protection of human’s health, respect of various communities and care of environment.


Reporting / Audit / Method:

  • Analyze the performance of Logistics contractors, propose appropriate improvements, further maintain records and statistics to ensure accurate reporting, KPIs, CPIs and prepares consolidated reports.

  • Put in place KPI's indicators for logistics operations and participate in the definition, implementation and monitoring of action plans under the responsibility of the operational departments.

  • Participate in the implementation and monthly monitoring of subcontractor performance and logistics indicators (KPI), printouts of indicator tables and identification of deviations.

  • Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback to different entities as required and development of REX documents, develop continuous improvement, safety culture and campaign, review and development of new procedures, monitor and update records and statistics to ensure accurate reporting and KPIs/CPIs.

Qualification, Experiences and Competencies

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial operations at supervisory level and a suitable general HSE and Logistics knowledge in onshore oil industry operations.

  • Logistics & HSE management rules, Lifting/handling, Storage management and techniques, Land transportation, Base management operations.

  • Good command of English knowledge and experience in ERP systems including SAP and database management including MS access, word, project, excel, Primavera.

  • Self-motivated, and proactive in carrying out the activities of the job.

  • Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions, ability to adapt, analyze problems and communicate with all entities, analytical mind, rigorous, holistic approach and tenacity, flexible and able to write Standing Instructions and Procedures.

  • Active team player with ability to manage and integrate with others in different functions and environment.
