Perform facilities management duties, minor maintenance repairs and ensure that the One Stop Board Point (OSBP) facility is maintained in a clean, orderly and safe state at all times

Duties and Responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensure 100% availability power, utilities and functional facilities at the OSBPs to ensure smooth business operations
a) Respond quickly to all service requests for maintenance ant utilities requests at the OSBP
b) Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment (generators, air conditioning, pumps, firefighting equipment, plumbing etc)
c) Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to minimize down times from utilities, facilities and power incidents
d) Ensure the OSBP is kept in a hygienic and safe environment
e) Provide for all preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
f) Provide for all repairs of equipment and facilities.
g) Provide reports on all the above activities to Supervisor Estates & Utilities on a regular basis.
2. Clean and care for the entire OSBP facility to ensure itis maintained in a safe and healthy manner
a) Supervise the cleaning service providers and ensure good quality of cleaning services in and around offices such as washing all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware and glass
b) Keep outside areas including the parking yard and the gardens Clean, and well kempt.
c) Make routine inspection rounds across the entire facility to ensure there is constant water supply and availability of toiletries in the rest rooms to ensure a hygienic environment
d) Continuously highlight areas of improvement for the cleaning service providers at the OSBP to ensure prompt response
e) Escalate complicated challenges regarding the cleaning services at the OSBP to the Administrative Officer to ensure appropriate measures are taken to address such challenges
e) Manage Tenancies at OSBP and ensure timely payment of rent .
f) Be conversant with OSBP property and ensure that there are no encroachments, unauthorised occupation of OSBP property .
3. Report and follow up the execution of routine and incidental maintenance across the OSBP facility to keep it in a good condition.
a) Report damages, cases of vandalism, and any need of maintenance repairs to the Administrative Officer for further Management
b) Ensure all locking systems are in good working condition and promptly raise the needs for lock replacements with Administrative Officer for further management
c) Continuously monitor the lighting system and report any need for major repairs and replacements to the Administrative Officer for further Management
d) Respond to immediate safety concerns (e.g., facility damage, alarms, etc.) for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety issues and maintaining a functioning work environment at the OSBP
e) Proactively advise the Supervisor Estates & Utilities on the any areas that require preventive Maintenance; including furniture, terraces, park yards, fixtures in restrooms, etc.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Essential Requirements
a) A National Diploma or its equivalency in Electrical Engineering/Facilities Management from a recognized institution of higher learning.
b) At least five (05) years’ experience in electrical installations and related works, two (02) years of which should be performing estates maintenance works in a reputable Organization
c) An impeccable record of integrity
Desirable Requirements
ERA permit - Class C minimum
Knowledge
a) Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
b) Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations
c) Possess thorough knowledge of facilities low & medium voltage electrical distribution systems including transformers, MCC's, generators, ATS', UPS', etc
d) Possessing good knowledge of the latest NEC codes with ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
e) Knowledge in CAD
