About WFS Project:
The USAID Feed the Future Uganda Water and Food Systems (WFS) Activity is a five-year activity (202302028) implemented by Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI Global LLC) as a lead partner with funding from USAID Feed the Future in partnership with Catholic Relief Services, Stantec, Market Share Associates, and the International Water Management Institute. The Activity aims to inclusively and equitably improve food and water security in the Kyoga Basin in northeastern Uganda, specifically three watersheds — Lokok, Awoja, and Lokere, by empowering individuals and communities to mitigate and adapt to shocks and stressors in order to improve livelihoods, maintain nutrition and health wellbeing, address drivers of conflict, and reduce reliance on humanitarian assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Monitoring, Evaluation. and Learning (MEL) Officer will directly support the MEL Manager in development and implementation of all project MEL initiatives and activities
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in statistics. economics. or other relevant fields plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in similar role.
Prior experience in USAID project Monitoring and Evaluation processes is a plus.
Professional proficiency in English is required and proficiency in local languages is preferred.
Knowledge of research methods
