Job Description
Working closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs, define job requirements, and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent that aligns with the company's goals and values.
Utilizing various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and attract qualified candidates, and conducting thorough screening processes to assess their qualifications and fit for the organization.
Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, to enhance employer branding and attract top talent.
Conducting interviews, assessments, and evaluations to select the best candidates for open positions, while ensuring a fair and unbiased selection process.
Working closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs, define job requirements, and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
Developing and promoting the company's employer brand to attract and retain top talent, and creating a positive image of the organization as an employer of choice.
Maintain a talent pool/database for future hiring needs.
Post job openings on relevant job boards and company career pages.
Review and screen incoming applications and resumes.
Conduct initial phone screens and schedule interviews.
Organize and conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates.
Assist hiring managers with interview preparation and evaluation forms.
Coordinate candidate assessments and testing where applicable.
Assist in the decision-making process by providing relevant candidate information and assessments.
Perform reference checks and background verification.
Negotiate job offers and manage the offer process
Work with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Track and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire).
Provide regular updates to HR and management on recruitment activities and progress.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and organized candidate records and documentation.
Qualification, Experiences and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human resource management or business administration or any related field.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in recruitment or a similar role
Experience in the telecom sector is an added advantage.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
